
Dr. Chelsea Townes-Francis
Dr. Chelsea Townes-Francis has provided care to pediatric patients at Sachem Dental Group since 2020. She brings individualized, patient and compassionate care to all her patients. Her goal is to provide a safe, fun and warm-hearted environment for every patient she sees.
Dr. Chelsea graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Health and Societies and a concentration in Public Health in 2009. After graduation, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry and completed a career changer program at Columbia University where she took pre-medical courses and applied to dental school. In 2016, she completed a dual degree program at Columbia University where she obtained her Doctorate in Dental Surgery and a Master’s in Public Health. Dr. Chelsea completed her pediatric dental residency at Stony Brook University in 2018 and became a board-certified pediatric dentist in 2021.
Since residency graduation, Dr. Chelsea has lived and practiced in Suffolk County. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, dog, extended family and friends. In addition to quality time spent with those she loves, she spends time doing Peloton biking, yoga, running and strength; explores restaurants wherever she travels; is a veteran Yelper; reads; and is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated where she focuses on community service.
