What insurance does Sachem Dental accept?

Sachem Dental Group participates with the following insurances:

• Fitzharris

and almost all other insurance and discount plans. Sachem Dental does not accept Medicaid.

Medicaid and Medicare are not insurance, but a state-funded plan.
Sachem Dental does not work with these programs. We do offer flexible payment plans.

Sachem Dental offers Care Credit; low and interest free financing options.
We also offer Long Term Financing at low interest rates.

Sachem Dental does offer late hours. All offices are open until 8:00pm Monday thru Thursday. We are also open on Saturdays until 2:00pm. Each office opens between 8:00am and 10:00am. Please visit our locations page to see office specific hours.

We understand that sometimes life gets busy and appointments aren’t able to be kept. If you need to cancel please call the office where your appointment was scheduled to cancel. If we are closed, please call the office and leave a voicemail on our automated system that you are unable to make the appointment. We will give you a call when we are open to reschedule.

For a routine dental appointment, we begin treating children at age four.  We also have pediatric specialists on staff in our Nesconset and Patchogue-Holbrook Road locations.

Most surgical procedures are done using a local anesthetic which would not interfere with driving.  If IV sedation is used, you will need to be accompanied by someone that can drive you home.

In most cases, a post and crown are recommended after a root canal depending on the tooth and the tooth structure remaining after the procedure.  Although, there can be certain situations where a filling can be placed.
